New beginnings at Marialbai Mission

Over 200 children have been identified in Marialbai as having lost both parents in the civil conflict in Sudan. This week Steven Blacket is travelling to this remote Sudanese community, which has such great need, to establish the beginning of a mission. An agreement has been entered into to commence a feeding program from a tradition tukul (house) made of grass and wood. Arrangements are also being made for further building projects using compressed earth bricks that will be both environmentally and economically sustainable. There are plans for the provision of accommodation for these children along with a school and a church.
